Etruscan Wall Charger Plate - embossed shell border with fish design

Using fine terracotta the hand built plates are made over several days. The process of pairing back the clay and refining edges and texture allow each piece to be entirely unique and embrace individual irregularities. 

The embossed shell design is created using a real shell to gently imprint the clay. Engobe hand painted wave design.

Recommended as a decorative wall plate or as a serving plate during special occasions. 

Materials: Terracotta with slip, engobe and mixed pigment.
