FU LUCE - LIGHT 4

The FU LUCE lamps are more than functional objects — they’re quiet sculptures of light and feeling. Each one is hand-woven from recycled cotton threads on hand-cut timber frames, using a technique developed intuitively over time. No two are the same. Pattern, tension, color — all shift with mood and movement, creating pieces that have a life of their own. For designer and creator, Amelia Bateman, the FU LUCE shades weave together all the irregular beauty of the place she has chosen to call home. The unexpected details— the things that make you stop, look twice and lean in.

Created in Naples, FU LUCE draws on the offbeat energy of southern Italy — faded frescoes, streetlight shadows, the geometry of cracked tiles and tangled washing lines.
