Sardine Plate - Pesce Mediterraneo

Using terracotta the hand built plates are made over several days. The process of pairing back the clay and refining edges and texture allow each piece to be entirely unique and embrace individual irregularities. 

The fish design is carved into the base to create a textural effect.

Materials: terracotta with engobe & mixed pigment overlayed with clear glaze
