Sardine Plate - Il Mare Ischia with brass wall hook

Using terracotta the hand built plates are made over several days. The process of pairing back the clay and refining edges and texture allow each piece to be entirely unique and embrace individual irregularities. 

A carved stamp was pressed into the base to create the raised embossed effect

Materials: terracotta with engobe & mixed pigment overlayed with clear glaze
