Terracotta platter - Embossed Pesce

Created using many layers of design. Cream slip with carved sgraffito border. Slip trail decoration creates a raised embossed effect.  Finished with a clear glaze this platter can be used decoratively or on the table.

This is a one of a kind piece. 

Materials: terracotta, slip and semi sheer gloss glaze.

Dimensions: 34 x 27 x 3cm approximately

Hand wash recommended

Please note: While all efforts have been made to seal the base of this piece it is the nature of unglazed earthenware to be slightly porous. A place matt is recommended if using for dining to ensure that there is no transfer of moisture that could mark the table.
